Setting Up

Connect Your Workspace

1. Go to Settings → Integrations → Notion
2. Click Connect
3. Select the pages/databases you want Sidebrain to access

Best Practices

Organize for AI

AI works best with well-structured content:

• Use clear headings — H1, H2, H3 help AI understand document structure
• Keep pages focused — One topic per page is easier to search
• Use consistent naming — "Meeting Notes: [Date] [Topic]" is better than "Notes"

Be Specific in Queries

Make sure the page is shared with the Sidebrain integration in Notion. Check Share → Invite on the page.

"The summary is missing information"

For long documents, ask about specific sections:

"Summarize just the 'Technical Requirements' section of my PRD"

"I get old information"

Notion data is fetched in real-time. If you just updated a page, wait a moment and try again.

Security

• Sidebrain only accesses pages you explicitly share
• We don't store your Notion content
• You can revoke access anytime in Notion settings
